The Jerusalem Quartet on Harmonia Mundi playing Mozart Quartets K 157, 458 & 589 a true revelation! I think I am beginning to hear the Prussian 589 for the first time. I have listened to many other performances but the Jerusalem Quartet has my full attention. I look forward to the day when they record all the other five quartets dedicated to Haydn. The attack and pacing of the `Hunt' was riveting. More please! Five stars are not enough!

Wasn't too keen on The Jerusalem Quartet's Haydn discs, not earthy enough & I much prefer the Lindsays' gruffer style. However, I was taken a back at the wonderful playing of Mozart on this disc. Perfect.

I am not an expert on Quartet playing, but I can hear that this is something special, as the reviewers have claimed, in fact.

Bought and given as a gift, having been highly recommended by a close relative. Much enjoyed by recipient. Very tempted to buy one for myself - a Mozart fan!
