I was excited to find this set of MP3 files that contained both the Requiem and the Great Mass in C min. I was disappointed by the way the files were packaged for download.
There were three problems. First, the tracks were interleaved - track 1 of the Requiem would be first, then track 1 of the Mass, then track 2 of the Requiem, and so on.
Compounding this, some of the tracks were inconsistently labeled, meaning that they didn't appear in the folder with the bulk of the tracks. The album folder was "Mozart: Requiem & Mass in C minor." Unfortunately, track 2 of the Requiem wound up in a folder titled "Mozart," all by itself. Took me a while to track it down.
Moving right along... Finally, there were two *more* mislabeled (or inconsistently labeled) tracks that were in Japanese. You'll find them right under "'''''''''''' Disc 1," in case you were wondering.
It took me an unreasonable amount of time to track down and fix all these problems. A brief scan of the files before publishing them should have shown that there were a few problems that needed fixing. Apparently no one did this.
The music itself, once I got to listen to it, was fine. Because of that, I'll give two stars instead of one; but it was a close thing.
