I was very please, even electrified, with Bezuidenhout's volumes 1 and 2. I enjoyed his tempi, interpretations, and treatment of dynamic as well as his use of embellishments and improvisational skills. I felt the opposite with this volume, and volume 3. My biggest disappointment were the set of variations. This piece is one of favorite keyboard pieces by Mr. Mozart and I did not enjoy his interpretations. To me, it was too masked. I like something a bit more robust and it was too soft and delicate for most of the playing. I prefer the way I play it on my own piano so I will stick with that. Out of the whole volume I would say the first part of the piano sonata in G was the best of the album.
