I am by no means a professional critic nor am I a professional musician, but in my opinion, this is the most beautiful clarinet concert ever written. With orchestra direction by Karl Böhm and clarinet solo beautifully played by Alfred Prinz, this performance is in my iPod's "favorites" playlist. I listen to it daily. It somehow manages to take me to another place where the sky is just a little bit bluer, the grass is just a little bit greener, and life is just a little bit simpler. I highly recommend.
