Moving Hearts 27 July 2009
Format:Audio CD
Have this on vinyl and it is a long-term favourite of mine. From the haunting Lake of Shadows .... bass up, volume up - sublime! to the melancholy rememberances of Irish Ways and Irish Laws ... and the quietly angry Hiroshima Nagasaki Russian Roulette. Christy Moore's songs of passionate rebellion always seem to strike the right balance between anger at injustice and respect for those who were affected/involved.
This is an album which says much and to which I return often.

Best of its type 7 Feb 2007
Format:Audio CD
This is a gem of an album. Strong through all its 9 tracks. Although from the early 80's it has a freshness and passion that still holds up today (Irish Ways and Irish Laws anyone?). It even surpases a lot of the more recent Irish music, with the exception of Kila of course!
