Not what you think...,

I have been a fan of Modern Romance's cheesy but cheerful music since their heyday. I was therefore so pleased to hear that at last, I could put away my vinyl, and listen to the 'Moosey' & 'Salsa' in perfect digital sound - but alas, little did I realise that all the songs have been recorded. David Jaymes is no longer with M.R., leaving Andy 'whats-his-name' in charge! And sorry, but what singing voice he did have in the 80's, he certainly doesn't have any longer.All of the songs have been re-voiced for the worse. I was so looking forward to listening to Nothing ever goes the way U plan, but it is just totally ruined by the new vocal and tune! Maybe it is just that I have outgrown Modern Romance, and I enjoyed their music because I was younger and found any 'happy' music accepatble. Whatever it is, just avoid this record and remember Modern Romance from your memories - it will be a much more pleasurable experience I can assure you!!
