Move Of Ten is the second full-length release from Autechre in 2010, considered an EP but worth the price of an album. It happens to be their tenth EP, it has ten tracks and was released in 2010; perhaps this is why it has 'Ten' in the title? The title could also be a play on 'move often'. The sleeve is rather ugly, especially considering it was designed by Designer's Republic, albeit the design is a small complaint given the generous price and the quality of the music. Some of it sounds almost straight-forward which is rare for Autechre nowadays. My favorite track on the album is probably 'pcefreeze 2.8i'; it has elements of hip-hop, industial and dare-I-say dubstep; all spliced together to create a sinister, funky and beautifully produced track; the album is great from start-to-finish though, and it could be a good starting point for those interested in getting into Autechre for the first time. The track: 'y7'; almost sounds like an homage to AFX's Analord series, something I like, a lot!
In conclusion; I definitely recommend you check this album out. It's worth more than the low price-tag.
