It's the first time I have ever read a whole book in a single day, I could not put this book down, a brilliant story, fast furious, scary and a great end to the trilogy. Highly recommended to all!

a very plucky girl and her mouse, set off to save the mice of the world,from the sinister bad man who would enslave them all. There are sea voyages (are the pirates goodies or baddies?) to cursed Islands in the seas of High Imagination. Good solid plot with twists, great characters and fantastic settings. WARNING do not start these books if you have urgent other stuff to do. You won't do the other stuff until you have finished the trilogy.

I loved this trilogy SO MUCH! It's probably aimed for people much younger than my 20-something years, but it was excellent escapism whilst riding a packed bus each morning. Lots of wonderful characters (including a girl who I totally wish I was) and just the right amount of sea-based fighting for me. LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it.
