This map is ideal for those who want to ramble in the Mournes or indeed Slieve Croob area.
It is easy to read and has all points of interest clearly marked. I purchased this map as the one I had was starting to show its years.
The new map comes with a waterproof covering which is excellent for outdoor use. You can also use dry wipe markers on it when planning your route prior to your walk.
On one side you have the Mourne Mountain range and on the other you have the Slieve Croob area. Also on each side you have clearly marked your compass variation which is a great help.
I would highly recommend this map to anyone who is interested in exploring our wonderful Mourne Mountains and Slieve Croob. Don't leave it at home, take it with you and enjoy many hours and days in the great outdoors.

Loads of detail, comes in a plastic cover to help keep it dry. Very easy to read and plan routes.

The 1:25,000 scale is definitely a must for following trails in the Mournes, any greater scale isn't worth using. The map is printed on water resistant paper which is a bonus when used outdoors.
