after several years of regular use in uk and overseas, we find the pole to be really useful when out for a walk on rough or hilly ground. no sign of deterioration in altering and fixing the length for storage and use, or the anti-shock mechanism that prevents jarring through the wrist.
other poles have an angled handpiece which would have been a bonus, but few used by our companions seem as well made.
