At my last count i have nearly 137 books on North Wales and Snowdonia so why then am i writing a review on yet another hillwalking book.
That is quite easy to answer as this small but excellent quality put together fully colour illustrated book on the most popular areas in North Wales really caught my eye for being something special.
The walks chosen especially those in the Carneddau are well known to me as i live very close by in llandudno and on opening this book for the first time the photographs really excited my imagination.
The quality of paper used in this guide is remarkable considering its cost but it is the description and chosen photographs that wanted me to write a review.
The Carneddau,Glyderau and overly popular Snowdon are so well known to so many walkers that it is rare for a book to grab my attention and want me to go out and do some of these walks.
For a visitor or tourist new to North Wales and it's mountains this is a book that will more than encourage a visit.
The pictures and well illustrated guided walks are almost drawing you into the mountains.
If you donot believe how well put together this book is check it out first in your local bokshop, im more than convinced you will find it's contents amongst the finest of new publications on this beautiful area.
