I have had more fun from this book than all the many literary wonders that I have purchased this year. It has some wonderful off-road bike rides listed in one of the most glorious and unspoilt counties in England. I have now done about half of the listed routes and have hardly encountered another soul apart from in the lovely villages. I always accompany the book with a map, which is listed, just to ensure that I am quite clear as to where the bridleways go as route markers are often hard to find.

You might say it was the best return on £10 I have had for a long time, if you leave out the the massive cost of the bike!

Love this book!! I'm a keen MTB'r and love rushing around doing all kinds of various events but I have to say I enjoy nothing better than navigating my way around this amazing beautiful county with the aid of this book. It takes you to quirky little places you would never go to and the sights are outstanding whether it's coastline in the south , rolling chalky hills in the west or deep rural countryside in the North and east. The navigation is not too difficult and from time to time you get a little of track but that's half the fun!! Fully recommended as car as I'm concerned

33 routes of varying length and difficulty. I generally plan the route on an OS map beforehand to save too much stopping on route, and the instructions provided are fine for me. A good amount of track with short linking road sections. The tracks can certainly be challenging with some little used, overgrown trails, bumpy rutted bridleways and energy sapping grassy uphills but the views are magnificent and I've enjoyed most of them. Probably not a book for a family cycle, but bikers will love it.

Took this book on holiday with me to try a couple of routes out. Some nice rides but a little difficult to follow from the description/instructions and the maps are not so clear. Being a novice might not help but with a little bit more local knowledge might have helped.

Useful guide with fairly detailed route description. 33 different routes from 5 miles up to 22 miles some of which can be linked together. Not tried any yet tho' Kevin
