I have had more fun from this book than all the many literary wonders that I have purchased this year. It has some wonderful off-road bike rides listed in one of the most glorious and unspoilt counties in England. I have now done about half of the listed routes and have hardly encountered another soul apart from in the lovely villages. I always accompany the book with a map, which is listed, just to ensure that I am quite clear as to where the bridleways go as route markers are often hard to find.

You might say it was the best return on £10 I have had for a long time, if you leave out the the massive cost of the bike!

Took this book on holiday with me to try a couple of routes out. Some nice rides but a little difficult to follow from the description/instructions and the maps are not so clear. Being a novice might not help but with a little bit more local knowledge might have helped.
