I have loved this series, and the e book with more background information.
After all the excitement of the last book, I was approaching this one a little sadly knowing the series is to end soon. But on reflection, I have seen so many series go on a downward spiral trying to keep going long after the sell by date, I am content!
The book was great, characters, as always, true. I enjoyed learning a little bit more about Joanne's past, and happy for her to be learning also about what she remembered and what actually was going on and why.
My only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that I had begun to really get irritated by the constant comments by her that she should have figured something out, that yet again she only realised too late what she should have done. I understand that because of her situation she is learning 'on the job' as it were, but, sorry I was really getting irritated.
Apart from that loved it, missed Gary not being there, but obviously he will figure largely in the next/last book, according to the ending!
