Good juicer for small quantities of juice, 6 Mar 2006
This review is from: Moulinex BKA12K Juice Extractor, 1 Litre (Kitchen & Home)
Juices well enough, but need to chop larger fruit such as apples in order to fit into feeder. Oranges, lemons etc need to be peeled first, as the machine can't cope with the thick skins. You need to empty the pulp etc after making about 4 or 5 glasses of juice or else the machine becomes clogged. However, it is EASY to clean. Even the filter cleans quite easily if you use a nylon brush or a nail brush or similar. The best practice is to rinse all the components under a running tap immediately after use. You can also put components safely through your dishwasher. The white plastic parts do tend to stain though. Good value juicer.

Great little Machine, 24 April 2006
This review is from: Moulinex BKA12K Juice Extractor, 1 Litre (Kitchen & Home)
After trawling the web reading reviews before i bought my first juicer, i settled on this one.
I cant compare with any as its the first one ive used but i can honestly say that it was worth every penny.
Gives lots of juice, leaving a dry pulp. Its easy to clean, just make sure you have a toothbrush to clean the sieve piece, if you have a toothbrush then its very easy to clean.
Its not as noisy as i thought it would be.
My only problem is that it doesnt have the 2 speed facility for soft and hard fruits, one speed does all, but that was my fault for obviously not reading the specs properly.
Definatly reccommend this juicer, i love it

Easy clean?, 4 July 2004
This review is from: Moulinex BKA12K Juice Extractor, 1 Litre (Kitchen & Home)
Hmm...that certainly applies to the 'surfaces' only...cleaning the filter is a nightmare (not to mention all the pulp that sits inside the top of the machine - does ok if I flush some water through before I dismantle it but then of course the pulp is very wet!). Other than that it's a great little juicer, would be better with a larger feeder especially with things like apples but a great starter machine.
