I deliberated for quite a while before buying this - it seemed stupidly expensive for a plate. However, similar products esp the Phillips/Avent one got very mixed reviews and only have little suction pads which I was unconvinced about the likely efficacy of. Suction plates, as distinct from bowls, seem very hard to find unless you buy a whole set, which I didn't want.
The Moulin Roty photos don't show the product clearly at all and there were no reviews, so I had no real idea what I was buying but in the absence of anything better, decided to take a risk. I'm really glad I did. The plate has a full, large suction ring that goes right around the bottom, so it holds to a surface very well indeed. It's also rather more attractive than a lot of baby products - the Moulin Roty look is cute but tasteful. So yes, it costs quite a bit more but compared with the competing products which have disappointed other reviewers, you won't be wasting your money.

It might just be my bad luck, but the suction pad is so big it doesn't fit on the centre of either of my daughter's highchair tables. It will stick off to one side, which isn't that convenient. The suction pad is reasonably good, probably needs re sticking every 3-4 minutes. Not much of a challenge for my 10 month old, it's usually off the table and onto the floor at most mealtimes. She is that way inclined, though...
I can't rate this plate higher than a 3 on the basis that it didn't solve my problem, but hey, it might solve yours.

This plate is great - its suction pads keeps the plate stuck to the table so it delivers what it promises (not like many other similar products). The suction do not last forever so sometimes you have to press it down again to renew the suction, but in all it's a great plate that keeps everything on the table!many other similar products)
