It's a trusty phone 3 May 2009
By grace
I got this phone a while ago and i am soon replacing it but it has been good. I havent had any problems like the keys breaking of the screen braking. I've dropped it alot and it works great. It does come with some pretty rubbish ringtones but it's up to you to get your own. The camera is good, it has 4x zoom. Although the video only does like 6 seconds. All the buttons are far enough apart to not press the wrong one when your texting. But the games are bad and it doesn't hold any music. There is no place for an extrenal memory card an the phones biggest downfall is no computer connection. So any pictures on the are stuck! The battery life is very good, the best i've had. The front screen is quite small and the volume buton is on the side so occasionally the ring volume is changed when it's lin your pocket. It seem stupid giving it a five but if your not looking for anything fancy, just the basic features it's great!

This is my second V3, although they are as tough as anything, after 3 years even I eventually managed to break one. I got another as quickly as possible.

If you're wanting games and movies music etc forget it, this phone is not for you (but that's why we have iPods). If what you want is a simple bomb proof phone that *just works* plus is thin, light, elegant, where you can actually use the keys with normal size fingers and lasts forever on a charge then this has to be the one for you.

It isn't the 'look at me' lifestyle accessory to change your life... but it is a damn good phone.

I've had this phone for a couple of years now, and used to be perfectly happy with it, mainly because I very rarely used it - maybe texting people once a week and phoning on it less often. However, I now use it a lot more and am finding out its shortcomings.

As another reviewer said, one of its most annoying drawbacks is the lack of memory - I get an average of six texts stored before it tells me the inbox is full. Sometimes it doesn't bother telling me that, it'll just delete the text from a previous message when a new one comes in, so when I try to open an older message it just said *missing text* which is very annoying.

I've also found the phone to be quite temperamental - on several occasions someone has phoned me and it just hasn't rung at all. I used to think it was just me not hearing the phone, but I've had people try to phone me, and several hours or even a day later the phone will tell me I've had a missed call. The predictive text is unhelpful, there are some common words which it just doesn't seem to recognise at all, offering the oddest suggestions in their place.

The only thing I can think of to recommend the phone is that it looks quite nice, but I'm on Amazon just now looking for its replacement.
