Depends on what you want out if a video monitor I suppose. I wanted something which
Showed me an image (wasn't particular bothered about HD quality) & could transmit sound!
This works for us! I looked at the mote expensive models before had no use for skype connectivity or multiple cameras!
The image is not crystal clear, but will do. The sound turns on only for cries which is good again... Especially if you have a baby like mine who is a noisy sleeper (small wimpers & gentle snores are not transmitted, but cries are)

I was very impressed with the range i got from this monitor. I'm able to go outside the house with it with no interference issues, probably due to the dect technology. My previous monitor wuas 2,4Ghz and despite the higher frequency the range was pretty limited because of interference from wireless devices. This one, with the 1,9Ghz I can surely say that 150 feet of distance is no problem for this monitor. Good buy despite the relatively high price.

This was the first video monitor we purchased and not happy with it. Basically you can only hear your baby when he or she really starts to cry and not when he or she is waking, stirring or being fussy. Personally I would prefer to sort my little one out before they are screaming for food.
