This monitor turns itself off without warning - and it's not down to a dead battery. So, you're sitting there with a silent monitor thinking that all is well with your little one - but it's not! We thought that perhaps it goes on standby until baby makes a noise but when we put it to the test, this proved not to be the case. We stood outside the baby's room with the parent unit in hand, she was moaning and monitor was silent. We worked out that you have to press the talkback button to wake the monitor up!!! What's the point in that!?!? Completely useless!!
Also, the unit that you leave with the baby doesn't display the temperature which would be useful.

This product is ok if you do not need to hear your baby/child's every move. There is no interference and we bought two lots of this model and they both worked fine independently of each other with no buzzing etc. The only problem we found is the sensitivity to noise is poor and hence we were a bit dubious to use this model when our new baby arrives in case early next year in case we couldn't hear him/her properly. Suitable for an older toddler but due to no sensitivity adjustment button on this model we are returning and hopeful to find another model that fits our requirements.

This is a great product, you can not only hear your baby but can also monitor the temperature in his room, play soft tunes and talk instantly to assure him that some one is around. Perfect!!!

rubbish
i bought this as a replacement for the bt 250 i was having problems with - unless my daughter is crying really loud i cant hear her - i would prefer a monitor that pics up sound... Read more
