As the road-warriors themselves say, "If it's too loud, you're too old."

Overkill is an understatement, these little headphones pack an almighty punch and the sound clarity remains excellent even with the volume cranked as far as you can handle. Lemmy has definitely been involved in the sound engineering because if you like to listen to your rock loud then these will not disappoint! Having said that, the fantastic sound clarity means you can appreciate any genre of music with these headphones.

They are really comfy and unlike most in-ear headphones I've owned, they feel secure with no risk of them pulling out. The pack also contains various size buds, so even if you have ears like the BFG or like Captain Spock you should still find a comfy fit.

Aesthetically the bullet design is striking, especially in bronze. Engraved on the bullet ends is the Motorhead Logo which looks class.

The lead is completely tangle free and fitted with a mic and skip/pause control.
The addition of a volume would have been nice but it's not essential.

The pack also contains a neat little Motorhead bag which keeps them safe when in my pocket.

I'm not usually one to care about packaging however I love the Motorhead branding and it is far to cool to bin.
I would recommend to anyone in the market for headphones.

An example of how to pack excitement and base into a pair of in-ears, what overkill!

The aggressive design and attention to detail on each component adds so much more value for money than the understated low price point. What a bargain. Talking on behalf of all rock pioneers these headphones let you enjoy the clarity and range of each song, really bringing in the base where necessary. You can tell the engineer really understood music when developing these.

Every detail helps deliver the design in this product. The premium feel of the Aluminium casing combines durability and light weight features. This pooled with the woven tangle free cable and adjustable metal slider makes these headphones really user friendly and long lasting. The inbuilt microphone component has a handy on/off switch which is strangely attractive but adds a cool point of difference. Noise cancellation..... Sorry what I couldn't hear you?

As well as being a complete overkill, it's also multi functional with that often forgotten detail. For example Carry bag, cable adapter for other android cell phones, ability to work with any music player and what's more..... Completely Motorhead proof!

Now the packaging..... What an experience. Un wrapping this product was such a journey, dragging out the excitement of receiving a new gadget. Learning about the inspiration, lifestyle and story as you turned the page to find the product was also a nice added feature.

These headphones have fantastic build quality, mostly with the threaded cable and use of HEAVY METAL! They're loud and powerful; plenty of bass and a clear sound listening to all genres of music. The right angled headphone jack is great as it won't get damaged in your pocket / bag, and if you're not using them you can put them in the stylish little Motorhead earphone bag. The ear sockets that come with it are all very well fitting, I had to change mine to the smallest and they don't fall out at all like other in-ear headphones usually do for me.

The price is pretty good for the quality overall as the earphones themselves are fairly heavy due to being made out of smooth, cold metal with the band name etched onto them. The microphone works fine and so does the stop/start button on the toggle switch. They haven't tangled at all in the time I've had them and are a great addition to any music fan who wants a bit more power pumped into their ears.

EDIT: Unfortunately, these headphones sound great and feel lovely but they just aren't built very well. Within a couple of months of using them, one of the earphones will lose some of its bass and start to go tinny before leaving you with a nasty imbalance which makes them quiet and unusable. I went through 2 pairs of these and both broke (but I have to give credit to Amazon, they instantly sent out a replacement pair and I send them back postage free). It's a shame since they're nice headphones but they simply don't last.

On the back of the Motorizer headphones which I had bought a month previous, I decided to compliment with a set of earphones by the same brand. The Motorizer headphones had set an incredibly high benchmark for sound, which I imagined would be matched here.

Quality earphones are hard to come by. Frequently they suffer an excess of treble, and lack of clarity to the instruments. I had previously had a pair of Creative noise isolating earphones, which had incredible bass and audio clarity. I thought these Motorbeauties would at least be able to match that. standard.

Initially I was impressed. Very robust design, no horrible plastic cables. The earphones give an impression of `we are going to last long', which would be all well and good if the sound quality wasn't so awful. Trebly as hell. If you listen to folk, then maybe, but listen to anything symphonic or anything within the realm of extreme metal and you're going to have a hard time. I tried listening to Dimmu Borgir's `In Sorte Diaboli' and couldn't hear a single blast beat. Not acceptable. Bare in mind this is using the same mp3 player as I had been using my old creative earphones with.

I am very disappointed with the audio quality here. You're paying for the name and nothing else. Considering how good the headphones are, the brand would be well advised to ditch the earphones all together as they do not represent them well at all. One star for build quality only.
