I don't take anything terribly seriously, least of all things I really enjoy, so although it does have a serious side, this isn't a terribly earnest book. But hopefully you'll find it entertaining as well as informative.
If so, please feel free to tell your friends. If not then tell me and I'll try to do better next time...
Thanks for your interest.

Bloodless way to lose your trackday virginity,
By
This review is from: Motorcycle Trackdays for Virgins: A UK Guide (Paperback)
Sorry, that was a bit tastless, but hey! So many of us are nervous about doing a track day for fear of falling off and damaging ourselves and our gleaming machines. Not only is Trackdays for Virgins full of no nonsense good advice about how to go faster whilst staying safe, it is also a damn good read. The auther is clearly very experienced on the track and his easy going, informative style is very accessable. He takes you from the very basic stuff you need to know to get the most from your first track day through to some seriously advanced stuff for those who aspire to racing.Considering the cost of a track day and how much more fun I get from my time on the track after reading this I cannot recommend this book enough.

I was, somewhat cheekily, recommended this book by the author! As it turns out he knows his stuff and it is a good read with plenty of little tips to settle your mind and nerves before the big day arrives. There is also a handy guide to most (All?) UK tracks, with information about the facilities as well as the track itself.
