Motorcaravanning Handbook
As a newcomer to motorcaravanning I found this book very practical and comprehensive. It is easy to read and I can't think of anything the author hasn't covered about getting on the road. It doesn't cover what goes on under the bonnet, but that obviously depends on the make of base vehicle and is no doubt covered by other Haynes Manuals.
I had already bought my van by the time I read the book, but it includes good advice on buying a van, so I would advise anyone contemplating taking the plunge to read it first.
Chapters include text boxes of 'technical tips', 'useful tips' and 'safety tips', making it easy to refer back to information you may not have taken in on first reading it.

Succint, very practical and a lifesaver on my maiden motorhome voyage. I have read it cover to cover, several times. Very useful advice all around. For instance, the advantages of purchasing a vehicle under 3500 kg weren't immediately obvious to me and this book helped me avoid making several big mistakes.

Not much cop
Sorry, not terribly impressed, it didn't help me much. The tips on checking the under van plumbing were good but I found the rest to be blindingly obvious.
