There will be no difference for skype video calls! 3G is more than enough

SIM free means, you can use any mobile network sim to use your phone. It's not locked to a particular mobile operator.

Just the usb cable. I purchased charger here seperately. I guess they had to cut the costs to make the phone affordable.

simply insert the micro sim card into the phone and your number is still the same. If your old sim card is to large you can have it cut to the new size at any phone shop.

I got my SIM card from Virgin Media and it certainly is smaller that the one in my previous Blackberry phone. Suggest that you ask your question to the Service provider of your choice.
