This album is becoming one of my favorites of 2012. I'm really into electronic and ambient music, and what's so nice about MSOTT is that she really takes her time and lets songs and melodies develop very slowly, making the listening experience more of a journey. I don't think it belittles the album to say that this music is great to have on in the background or to fall asleep to. To wit: those are simply true statements, but by no means am I implying that this is bland spa music. The sounds and arrangements can be quirky, modern, and at times challenging, but never so much that it takes you out of the soothing trance-like state engendered by the songs. What's also nice is that despite being electronic, the music has some very warm tones and feels as if it were recorded in some woodsy cabin. I highly recommend this album, it's hard to imagine any fan of ambient music not enjoying it.
