Product Description

Product Description

After the release of their fantastic and critically acclaimed full length "Evil Deeds" and the split 7" with their label mates Monkey3, The Graviators return with their latest studio effort "Motherload". The brilliant vintage analog sound combines the Hard Rock of the Seventies with a good dose of Doom Metal and Stoner Rock. For the very first time, The Graviators pay homage to their cultural heritage. The result is the song "Leifs Last Breath / Dance of the Valkyrie". It is an epic track that could have been written by Quorthon (Bathory) himself. A special bonus is the re-recording of "Druids Ritual", a classic from the bands back catalogue. The song clocks in at almost 14 minutes and is a testament to the bands brilliance.

HASH(0x9c7d7744) out of 5 stars Great hard rock / Doom metal 1 Aug. 2014

Great hard rock / Doom metal!! Their best work to date. They are moving more towards a retro 70s sound.it is still doom metal.I am hoping they continue more in the hard rock or even psych vein.I would have rated this higher but there is only 5 stars
HASH(0x9bf1bb88) out of 5 stars Heavy, grooving, metal! 1 Dec. 2015

2014’s Motherload is the third album from The Graviators, yet another Swedish stoner/doom/heavy rock band to grow their beards and give us pure, unadulterated Black Sabbath worship.

Like Orchid, Sahg and The Sword, The Graviators serve up heavy, grooving, Sabbath-inspired metal with doomy riffs, gravelly vocals and an overall occultic vibe. There’s a bit of blues to their sound, but not as much as you’d find on the average Kadavar or Graveyard disc. The Graviators have a more metallic crunch than those bands too, which works pretty well. You’ll bang your head to this one.

Again, The Graviators aren’t anything you haven’t heard before, but they are really good at what they do. If you’re into the heavy/stoner/doom sound, particularly bands like Orchid, Sahg and The Sword, you’ve hit the Motherload.
HASH(0x9bf1bf0c) out of 5 stars They keep getting better! 12 Oct. 2014

Crushing sound, unforgettable lyrics, and an extremely talented band. Put it all together and you have the 3rd album from The Graviators. If you have heard any of their older art then you need this album, this band improves more and more every time out, favorites from this album are Narrow Minded Bastards and Lost Lord.
HASH(0x9c533960) out of 5 stars If you like them this is worth the money 17 Dec. 2015
