1.0 out of 5 stars Well... 15 July 2012
By KSCHIC - Published on Amazon.com

If reading about young children being hurt is your thing, then this book is for you. I for one don't enjoy that, and didn't enjoy this book at all.

1.0 out of 5 stars Children Degraded for Shock Value 8 July 2012
By G. Kimball - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
That was the impression I got. That the situations weren't created to tell a story or anything like that, it seemed as if they were for shock value and to make people go, "Wow, that's dark". The writing itself didn't strike me any and the stories seemed more like a collection of disturbing images rather than actual stories.

Spoiler Alert!
If you enjoy scenes of children being degraded and a little girl losing her virginity to a stray dog then enjoy. If not, I'd give it a pass.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Sure What Genre This Collection Falls Under 26 Jun 2012
By Simie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
The stories that are contained in Your Mother Loves You are definitely horrific, but I would not necessary classify them as horror. I don't know what genre they would fit in - but like the description says they are not written for children or the easily disturbed! They made me feel uncomfortable.

The edition I read contained 4 stories (a bonus story from the Sane Asylum collection called Two Bits): Your Mother Loves You which is about a mother who, I am not quite sure if I would call how she behaves love, makes night time visits to a child's bed.

In that Country - about a young girl who flees her country to avoid female circumcision and basically, ends up experiencing the world's worst.

Confiteor - a rebellious pupil at a boarding school and his experiences with another pupil.

Two Bits - a child's visit to a barber takes a turn for the weird.
