A really great product. Well made and nice to look at too. From the dimensions given I thought it would be smaller but thankfully it was just the size I wanted. From floor to edge of metal rim at the top it is approx 6' tall. The metal shade is 11" across and the arm with the other light on starts 44" up from the floor, just above the dimmer switches. The light of the arm is around 4" across and is flexible not just from the stem of the lamp but right where the actual arm lamp itself is. It was easy to assemble (and I am rubbish at things like that so that's saying something.) The light can be very bright if you want it, well enough to light a 14' room, but there are two independent dimmer switches on it so you can dim either the large light at the top or the one on the arm, or both to the desired level. I was a bit nervous about buying a light without seeing it on first, but I needn't have worried. I've looked everywhere for something like this and couldn't find it so took the plunge and bought it online and I'm glad I did. If I needed another lamp I would have no hesitation in buying another of these. Hope this helps!

I wanted a lamp that would fit at the side of my armchair with a light that was adjustable for reading, needlework & when using the computer. This lamp fits all this criteria & also being a senior lady I found it reasonably easy to assemble my self. Good value for the price.

very pleased with the product. reasonably easy to assemble. the service was very speedy and packageing was good. the choice of using either light is very handy also the fact they are both dimmer switches is extremely helpful. all in all very pleased with product and would definitely recommend to anybody.

Lovely lamp
Lovely lamp good value for money! The dimmer switch is great and I like that you can turn off the reading light and just have the main light on.

Stopped working within a week
The 'mother' lamp stopped working within a week of purchase. Tried replacing the tube - that's not the problem.
