5.0 out of 5 stars A lively exciting read, 30 Sep 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: A Most Improper Proposal (Steepwood Scandal) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the fifth book in the Steepwood series and introduces a new element in with the arrival of the book The Wicked Marquis. Who wrote it and is it really about Sywell of Steepwood Abbey?

The story itself is an amusing tale of a young woman forced to accept Viscount Buckworth's offer to become his mistress - and his predicament when he discovers that she is the granddaughter of Sir Geroge Owens.

The result is a highly entertaining read, and continues this excellent series apace

5.0 out of 5 stars Kim's review, 20 Mar 2003
This review is from: A Most Improper Proposal (Steepwood Scandal) (Mass Market Paperback)
As good if not better than the others in the series all in all very good Desiree is fired from her job cos one of the parents tries to seduce her so she has little choice but to take up an offer of being a mistress. And the plot goes on from there.
