5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring but practical advice -- easy to implement, 21 Jan 2009
By Kl Abbey (Bath, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Too many childcare books leave you feeling as if you should be doing so much more for your children. I loved how easy this book was to read and how many little gems it contained. It made me realise that I'm doing lots of good stuff already and suggested lots more ideas that'll develop as my children do. It didn't preach and used lots of anecdotes to explain situations and solutions. I know I'll be returning to dip into it for more inspiration soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars A strategy for parenting, 28 Nov 2008
There's no psychobabble in here, just tons of wise ideas on how to parent well. It's all too easy to get bogged down in the everyday stresses of parenting. This book helps you keep the big picture in mind. Everything from how to give your offspring a healthy attitude to money to encouraging them to think laterally is covered, and in ways that can be applied to all ages, from toddlers to teens.

Fundamentally, this book offers a strategy for parenting and it's a very good one at that.
