This is a fast-paced, lightweight (if a bit gory at times) novel which takes place in WW2 England and present day USA; it concerns the US President and his RAF Mosquito flying exploits; a present day kidnapping of the daughter of one of President's rivals by a nasty drug lord; and the efforts made to rescue her.
Ther are some nicely done links with a real RAF raid on a jail in Amiens in 1944 and some romantic sub-plots which end with a nice twist.
It's not great literature, but for only 1p it's a good read and great value. If you like Alistair McLean, Ken Follett, Dick Francis, etc you should like this book.
