when first removing the moshi clear guard from its packaging the first thing you notice is it really is impressively thin. it fits over the keyboard exceptionally well, and it certainly doesn't spoil the all important aesthetics of a fancy laptop thanks to its unparalleled transparency. being made from urethan its incredibly durably and easy to clean. for general daily use it serves as excellent protection from any general stuff, like crumbs or hairs from pets/hairy flatmates, that might try and make there way into your laptop. if you spend a lot of time just playing about with your macbook and generally always have it by your side its great. spending 20 odd quid to protect your expensive investment is worthwhile. however, if like me you spend long periods of time typing it can be a bit of a nuisance. being a student i primarily use my laptop for writing long boring essays, and i've found the additional force required for typing quickly over long periods of time can put a bit of additional strain on your hands. thankfully the moshi clear guard is easy to take off and put back on as it just sits over the keyboard. another issue is the remarks you may receive from friends for having what appears to be a latex splash guard over your keyboard, however on the plus side this will generally make them more apprehensive of borrowing your beloved mactop.

I have bought this item based on the provided pictures. I did believe that it would be the same as in the picture. However, I am wrong. Actually, I want to buy the item for the US keyboard which is the same as in the picture. However, the item I got is for the EU keyboard. That's why I have to gave it to my friend. It doesn't fit on my keyboard at all. My suggestion is that please be careful if you want to buy any item like this because the picture may not be the same as a real one that the seller will send to us.

This protector is certainly clear and thin, although it does require a change in typing style (press harder!). I was glad to see it preserved the touch typing locators (knobs on F & J).
Its let down a little by its inability to be actually secured to the keypad (it just sits on top), which means at times it lifts/slides (especially when hitting the enter key). A quick fix would be to line the outer edge with a clear adhesive so you could peel it off when you really need to.
All in all, its basically a dustcover which is fine, apart from the somewhat hefty price tag. Still, if its a thin dustcover you need, this is the product for you.

GOOD COVER
Good cover to protect dust etc. could be better if it could somehow cling/stick on the keyboard. Not too bad for its purpose.

Frist puschase
The palmguard is rather useful, and also isolates the heat created by the laptop. As the trackguard, I did not use it because I still like the feeling of touching the track pad.

this fits only a UK keyboard. Overall good but has one major flaw.
I have been looking around for a keyboard protector that fits a US layout keyboard in UK but failed. So I had to order from amazon.com and have it shipped to the UK. Read more

Poor after a time
Wouldn't buy this again as once it has a normal amount of 'finger greece' deposited, it becomes difficult to see through. Almost impossible to wash successfully.
