Product Description

Synopsis

The first of three Mortimer and Teasdale adventures in a single volume. In "Teasdale Sees Red", the characters are introduced. Teasdale manages to cause mayhem in the local tearooms but in the process raises the alarm over a prize winning sheep that has escaped from the market. The story deals with being accident-prone but well-meaning. In "Mortimer Goes to the Vet", Mortimer has an ear infection and has to wear a large collar to prevent him scratching - Teasdale thinks this is hilarious. On a visit to the local town Teasdale ends up with a lampshade stuck on his head - which makes him look ridiculous. Mortimer has the last laugh. This story deals with following Doctor's orders and not making fun of others misfortunes. In the third story, "Pickle Has Kittens", the farm cat, Pickle, and her new kittens are introduced. Teasdale saves one of the new kittens from falling into the pond. The story deals with Teasdale accepting responsibility and being careful in an emergency.
