Product Description

"I did like that the story was loosely based on a famous poem by an English poet, I can't tell you which without giving some of the story away. I think it was a great way to incorporate such a famous poem into a story for young teens" (Jo Stapley Once Upon a Bookcase blog)

Book Description

This second sensational story in the MORTAL KISS sequence - first serialised on international hit teen website Stardoll - is now a novel that is set to take the world by storm!

3.0 out of 5 stars Unsure .. 27 Jun. 2012
By Jenny C
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Personally I was disappointed with this book !!.

The plot, although a decent plot, was too watered down and I didn't like how it just ran through to the end.

there was no suspense, mystery or much humour to be honest and I didn't like how things were not explained very well for example ..

Lucas goes missing and Faye straight away knows something isnt right!!
Someone shows up and offers the wolves jobs and they don't find this weird??
What is with the parents letting their kids do all this lol!!
Where did the bugs come from (Its guessed but never explained)
How come nothing stopped Jimmy and Liz?
And as for the whole Lucas's father thing .. That could have been dealt with so much better, he goes from bumbling alcoholic old looking guy to hero because of 1 dream ?? Just silly really.

Over all I think this book could have been fleshed out better and it would have made a great read, instead I personally think it was a shadow of itself and I will probably forget all about it in no time.

Will I buy the next book? Yes, this is a series with great potential and I look forward to seeing what the next book brings. There was a short preview in the back of this book about it and it looks like it might be interesting.

4.0 out of 5 stars A teenage experience 20 April 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Am using this book with a teenage English student. I'd forgotten how teenagers see life so differently from us more mature women. A good good story line following on from Mortal kiss. It's amazing how many small punctuation inaccuracies you will find - good testing ground for my students!

3.0 out of 5 stars Still lacking for me as a reader 1 Aug. 2012
By Gareth Wilson - Falcata Times Blog TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE VOICE
Having just finished the first book I immediately started the second hoping that after a lot of the world building that the overall arc would pick up pace and work a lot better for me as a reader. Sadly it didn't feeling just as convoluted and slow in pace as the original. Don't get me wrong some of the idea's within did come over very well, in much the same way that it did with the original but overall it just wasn't a novel that stood out from the crowd for me as a reader.

All in I was disappointed as I felt that it could have been an absolute cracker had the pace picked up as the characters had something within for all tastes yet overall when a book lacks pace and seems to stop as well as start, it won't keep very many glued to find out the kicker at the end.

If like me you read the first book and thought wow this is amazing the you definitely need to read this one too, the continuation flows freely and smoothly, the characters grow through out the plot and you see the return of some you thought might be lost. Excellent read can't wait for the third instalment

this is a captivating book and if you have read the first one you should definatly read this book beacause it is a great follow up and as soon as i started to read it i couldn't put it down. i would read the first one before reading this book because mortal kiss: fool's silver does make references to motal kiss so it would be easyer to understand if you had already read mortal kiss. over all an exelent book and a very good read !!!!!!
