Really annoying. If you are hoping this will always switch off if you are not there to watch it, think again.
Every so often it will just continue boiling and fill the kitchen with steam.
As soon as you get out the warranty it will be OK for a while.

I am so pleased with this item.Had it for a week or so now. It looks classy ,boils fast and I love the blue on light. A change from the usual red.Have had no trouble with the switch not turning off when the kettle has boiled, like the previous reviewer reported. His review nearly put me off buying. You do have to make sure the lid is closed properly.

Only a year old but still doesn't switch off every time and, more importantly, the handle is becoming very, very loose with a severe threat of scalding if it totally fails. As soon as our new order of a Bosch kettle arrives from you the Morphy Richards is heading for the bin!

Great looking kettle but the lid is so hard to remove it's ridiculous. You wouldn't even TRY to get the lid off if the kettle was hot. Read more
