The 1.7 litre Latitude Jug Kettle has a concealed 3.1 kW rapid boil, quiet element with an optional whistle as this kettle is so quiet you might need to hear when the water is boiling. A blue illuminated water gauge lets you know when to refill, whilst a removable limescale filter makes for easy cleaning and a 360 degree connector means it is suitable for left- or right-handed use.

    Great Kettle, looks good, does it's job quickly and quietly, would recommend it to anyone...paired with the matching toaster (one long slot, great for pitta and big slices) it's a great set.

    This kettle would benefit from not being as deep,it is awkward to fill in a standard depth sink.The kettle is quick,quiet and good to hold.the whistle is on the quiet side and cannot be heard in another room.
    The overall appearance and feel is pleasing.

    This kettle does the job...it boils water. But if you want to see how much water you have poured in the kettle then the little window is not much help until you turn the thing on and it lights up blue.

    It looks great in the pics here but it's quite plastic in real life.

    It makes an annoying sound when it has boiled, but thankfully you can turn that "helpful" function off.

    To turn on the kettle you push a lever down and with other kettles I've owned this will automatically switch to the off position when you remove it from the base, but this one does not...it stays in the on position. I usually lift the jug off the base just as it reaches a boil (because it takes another few seconds for the kettle to register that is has boiled and turn itself off) and when I return it to the base it starts to boil again and I have to remember to turn it off or it will try to boil a fairly dry kettle.

    I bought the kettle and matching toaster and am not very impressed with either...definitely a case of buyers remorse
