The aroma of homemade bread around the home is one of those great cooking experiences. Bread, fresh out of the oven, with melting butter is a memorable taste sensation. The Morphy Richards Premium Breadmaker can create that experience every morning.
There's very little effort involved, because the breadmaker does all the work for you. Besides being able to do all kinds of speciality breads, including wholewheat, you can also prepare doughs for bread rolls, pizza, cake and jam – recipes are provided in the instruction booklet. The Premium Breadmaker offers three loaf sizes - 1lb, 1.5lb and 2lb – and five crust settings from very light to very dark.
Everything is easy and tastes homemade - because it is.

I was looking for a replacement machine for my old Morphy Richards breadmaker which although is still working perfectly will only make one size of loaf. As I was very happy with this breadmaker I thought I would stick with the Morphy Richards brand. I also really like the looks of this machine and the front angled display/control panel is important to me as my breadmaker is permanently mounted on the bottom shelf of a kitchen side table. With a bit of experimentation with ingredients and the crust control settings you can achieve perfect loaves. I have only used the machine to bake basic white loaves and brown loaves but have also made a mix of the two by using the basic white bread recipe but combining an equal mix of strong white bread flour and strong brown bread flour. As has been mentioned by other reviewers on other Morphy Richards machines the kneading blade does remain in the loaf more often than not but this is not a real problem. Remember though to remove this once the loaf has cooled down and more importantly before slicing. Also important is to follow the "Before first use" instructions as regards oiling/greasing the bread pan as this ensures that the loaf drops straight out without sticking. If there is one negative about the machine is that the front panel display switches off after a little while and although you can press the top button to bring it back to life along with the internal light I would have preferred the display to remain on during the whole baking cycle.
