A little noisy but fast boil kettles tend to be. A nice compact sized kettle which does the job. No unpleasant after taste with the boiled water, although I did fill and discard 3 times before use. No leaks so far either. The spout is quite large and a lot of steam does escape, however theres no splash back when you try to fill the kettle from the tap so you can't have one without the other I suppose.

Bought this kettle as my Dualit Jug Kettle gave up the ghost after just 2 years, it would have cost me £70 to replace it so I decided that I would try the Morphy Richards one and have not been disapointed at all with it, in fact shape size and look is almost the same as the Dualit, it's very quiet when boiling and most importantly light enough to lift when full and didn't cost the earth.

All in all very delighted with the product and would not hesitate to recommend it to others

Pleased with product, it is nicely finished and operates well. The only minor downsides are that it is noiser than our previous kettle and we miss the fact that the water level glass panel does not light up. However, good value for the money.
