Product Description

Product Description

According to our research, most of us find around the buttons, sleeves and shoulders the most difficult parts to iron. The Morphy Richards Comfigrip Tip Technology iron features a turbo tip at the top of the soleplate. This releases a powerful, concentrated burst of steam so you can reach those stubborn creases in the trickiest of places such as shirt collars, sleeves, pleated dresses and skirts of children’s clothes.

The non-drip system ensures that if the iron is not up to temperature on operation, water will not leak onto the fabric. A large tank (420 ml) lets you iron for longer without having to refill. The ComfiGrip cushioned handle also makes it easier to iron.

Good iron, plenty of steam; I found it glides beautifully and my large Duvet covers were ironed so much quicker, bring it on! NB Would not recommend it for Granny as it is a bit heavy.

It does everything it says on the box and looks cool to.

I decided to upgrade from my ancient, but faithful old iron and go for this one. It heats up in seconds, and the stainless steel plate and powerful steam makes ironing a breeze.

It's a sturdy iron and this is reflected in its weight, which may be heavy for some. But given that this iron just glides over material its weight is insignificant, when I consider its excellent performance has made my time ironing less of a chore.

Excellent product and this is very good value for money.
Long flex, heavy-weight iron makes a good job of creases in jeans and heavier cloth etc. Very comfortable handle. Highly recommended.

The only good thing about this iron is the price, but it's a false economy. Compared with my old iron it is heavy and so quite tiring to use. Even with the steam setting on maximum it does not seem to release much moisture into the fabric, yet when placed upright on the ironing board it pumps out a huge jet of steam and water droplets - I assume this could have something to do with the vertical ironing facility. How often does anyone need to iron vertically?
Finally, it is just about impossible to see how much water is in the tank. Sorry, waste of money.

Great iron, nice weight, no leaking. Bought at the reduced price, so no complaints. Should it be five stars? No, five stars is reserved for delight. If an iron ever delights me, I know I need to get out more.

All in all, a great purchase.

This Iron is the best I have ever had. I like ironing, so take great pride in the finish this iron provides. My only minor critism is that you cannot see how much water is in the tank as it is almost opaque. that said, I look forward to many years of using the Morphy Richards Comfigrip. WRD

Bought primarily becuase of price and of positive reviews. Turns out that the reviews are accurate - great price - great product. Big heavy iron, great for jeans and shirts, lots of steam. Thats as technical as it gets as I am a man and iron as little as often for the least possible time.......

I would recommend this iron after a few years of using an alternative brand. Here's why..

    Pros
It really does iron with less 'effort' (ie not having to run iron over hundreds of times to remove a crease!)
Large capacity water tank, with closing cap to avoid spills whilst ironing
    Long power cord
Excellent value for money - my old iron cost about the same for inferior performance

    Cons
Slightly heavier than I'm used to but likely due to extra water and therefore allows for more pressure on creases!
A little difficult to see water level in tank, but holding to the light helps!
