I have never reviewed anything in this way before but having spent a lot of money on appalling kettles in recent times and a few hours of my life researching before this purchase I wanted to share the fact that this is the best kettle I have ever owned. It is easy to fill, boils quickly, low maintainance and looks gorgeous. What more do you want? I am astounded there are so few well reviewed products out there, and a bit confused by the poor reviews for the Morphy Richard Retro Kettle that looks identical to this one in the pictures....but this one is fantastic.

Chose this kettle after my cordless jug kettle sprung a leak. I did wonder whether I'd get on with the traditional shape, but no worries there. It is quite noisy, but is super speedy, so it's not on for long. You just have to decide what is most important - hot water quickly or hot water quietly! The other point to note is that the footprint of this kettle is a bit more than your average jug kettle, which isn't much of a problem unless you have a precise space to put it in. Over all I am extremely please with this buy and would highly recommend it.

After having various priced keetles that never lasted that long I decided to opt for this model.Found it to be the best of the bunch.Very pleased with it,my sister has since purchased this model.

Looks good but that's all!
Agree that this kettle looks good on your worktop but after a year of putting up with the super loud boil sound, limescale and peeling paint, i've now retired my one. Read more

M.R. pyramid kettle
Beautiful retro kettle, that is very efficient. Only defect (and it is a small one) is that it can be a bit noisy whilst boiling. But I love it and my son wants one now!

Pyramid Kettle
