This is the smaller version of Morphy Richards slow cooker - just big enough to hold a small chicken.
Compared with some other slow cookers it is relatively light weight. The 3.5 litre ceramic pot is hefty, but the rest of it is quite light. There are three heat settings - low, medium and high -with high hot enough to bring the contents of the pot to a very gentle simmer.
I have been using this slow cooker for six months now and have had no problems. I do have two minor quibbles. The mains lead is incredibly short - you'll need to make space for this cooker right in front of a mains socket; and the controls have the heat settings in an illogical order - rather than 'off-low-medium-high' the order is 'off-high-low-medium'.

good useful 'pot'.
I like slow cookers as I can prepare the meal and then leave it overnight or during the day and it is ready for just when I want it.
for someone living on their own it is a very useful peice of kitchen equipment, but also rates well if you have a family.

Love this slow cooker. It's great, easy to use and clean and have used several of the recipes in the booklet included. It also looks good. Would definitely recommend to friends and the price was right too.

This cooker works very well. The only downside is that, as mentioned in other reviews, the control knob goes from OFF to HIGH to LOW to MED.

This is excellent for some one who lives on their own and has limited space.The only quibble,the mains lead could be a bit longer.
