Product Description
As part of the Accents range, Morphy Richards have incorporated a mixture of stainless steel and plastic to create a distinctive, retro look in the Accents Dome kettle. With a capacity of up to 1.7 litres, it offers a 3kW concealed rapid boil element, blue illumination in the water gauge and a dual water window to help you fill it with just the right amount of water. Other features include a 360 degree cordless base, removable limescale filter and fail-safe cut-out.
This cream kettle can be matched with other items from the Morphy Richards Accents range.

3kW so it boils fast, large enough for a family teapot and a couple of top-ups, and most important of all, that almost unheard of feature of a spout that pours without dripping everywhere. It is also one of the few simply styled but elegant beige kettles, ideal for our decor, and if you don't want to be dazzled by brilliant white or tacky chrome.

Bought cos one of the few cream kettles on sale. looks very attractive and boils and pours very well. Unfortunately after a couple weeks, the (rather flimsy) lid wouldnt stay shut, so returned it to Amazon who replaced it quickly. The repacement one has the opposite problem - the lid wont always open first time. Imtermittent fault at the moment, but it will go back if it gets worse. Hopefully there will be a money back choice if it does go back. Its mid price range so really should be better. probably better going for cheap and cheerful without a sprung lid.

Not what I expected
