Probably leaves the floor dryer than a mop. Only go over any area once with the steamer, that way it doesn't get too damp.

I can clean all my four rooms plus hallway on the ground floor. It doesn't over wet so a tank goes a long way and I change to a different fibre head for the laminate floors.

Hi, it's a steam mop so apparently can be used on any type of carpet or flooring, it works great on our carpet , as it doesn't soak the carpet just steams tiles or full carpet and dries straight away . hope this helps, regards val

Personally because we live in a very hard water area I wouldn't risk it,because of the build up it causes. But I save the water from defrosting my fridge and the freezer in bottle at side of fridge, as I read in a magazine that this is the same as distilled water, and safe to use in Irons, Steam machines etc., I hope this is of help!

No i would not use any cleaning products with your steam cleaner , it because of me putting disfectance in with the water in the steam cleaner hoping it would be even sterile and now , i have to buy a new steam cleaner , i should have taken heed , of the manufacturer warning

I wouldn't recommend it as I think it needs to be upright for the steam to work
