If you are looking for a reasonably priced coffee maker then look no further, we use it every day and it makes great coffee quickly and looks great in your kitchen.The reason it has 4 stars is that the jug cracked after a 2 months of purchase(our fault) and we waited nearly 3 months from Morphy Richards for a replacement as we were repeatedly told that it was out of stock, we almost sent it back but glad we didnt.We havent used the timer on it but the instructions look fairly easy our tip is to use filtered water as it tastes better and keeps machine free from limescale.

Currently shopping for a replacement for this model, after a couple of years of use. This is our third timer coffee machine and easily the worst. Doesn't make or keep the ocffee particularly hot; can be messy to add the water due to small hole and invariably spills excess water each time you open the lid to clean; jug makes mess when pouring, even when push lid down; and, at the price I would say you expect better than all of that.
On the plus side, it looks good on the counter and the blue neon light effect is attractive - however does practically light up the whole kitchen at night when timer is set, which I don't particulalry like.

It's a fine coffee maker. Makes good coffee. Like the look of it and that it has a reusable filter so there is no need to spend $ on filters. Don't like that the opening to pour the water into is so narrow. Causes spills and dribbles.

Not as good as others
Cons:
Water reservoir is not removable and awkward to fill.
Built in coffee-filter does not do a good job of keeping coffee out of jug, and is messy to clean. Read more
