Good looking product and handles stay cool while cooking. Red surface does come off if handled roughly or in a dish washer. Do not stack either as surface will come off. At this price I would not recommend unless you just want them as a good looking kitchen accessory. These saucepans do not come anywhere near the quality of Stellar.

In my opinion and experience these pans are UNSUITABLE FOR INDUCTION HOBS, bordering on the dangerous. Our previous set of pans were looking tired so we decided to replace with a bright new set - a big mistake. The first indications came a month or so ago when we noticed a saucepan vibrating, almost "singing" quite loudly on the hob (a 50Hz hum). Another saucepan put on the same hob was fine. It seems the bottom was either not flat or, I suspect, the pan was disbonding from the induction base. The latter seems most likely as another pan developed a fault when, after washing, it would bubble from the joint and then spurt hot steam at you. We persevered until Christmas but then another pan showed signs of distress and the red "skin" started to fall off.

The last straw was this evening, browning some chicken in olive oil on number 8 (highest setting is 9). I'd just taken the last piece of chicken out and the pan spontaneously ignited without warning. It certainly wasn't overheated and there was no smoking other than quite normal cooking fumes. I was lucky to be close to the back door and level headed enough to get the pan outside without spilling any oil (did singe the hairs on my hand - still sore). I let it burn out naturally on the patio and when it had cooled I put some water in, noticing that the base was distinctly bowed which I presume created a hot spot that ignited the oil. The heat from the flames has now "melted" the red completely and the remains of the olive oil and chicken fat is well carbonised onto the base. I look forward to what Amazon and Morphey Richards have to say, meantime I'll be using my trust and well used old pans from now on.

I've been cooking for myself for over 30 years and this is a first for me. So I urge anyone to think very carefully whether they want to use these pans on induction hobs. I can't give them a zero star so they get one star and that's only because Amazon delivered them quickly.

Really disappointed with this set, I haven't had them for long and the colour is coming off of all of the pans in big flakes, TBH they look pretty scabby :( Also the non stick coating of the frying pan is also starting to wear away. I cannot recommend these at all. I've started to replace them with cast iron, which I'm really please with.

I bought this set in september 2013. They really look good and took their part at the kitchen decor. But the red varnish started to peel with only 3 months of usage. So, I came to the conclusion this is not a long lasting product, unfortunately.
