It's silver and red and toasts bread capably - still think the grill does it better and more evenly - however if you have a contemporary red kitchen and the matching kettle then buy it, you won't be disappointed.

I must admit that the choice available was not as broad as expected so I opted for a reputable brand - Hotpoint in this case -- and this toaster does work well, repeatedly which is a good asset.

It failed to work properly and burned the toast. The pop-up mechanism just would not operate despite several attempts. Returned for full refund
