Got this after my Breville one cup started to leak ever so slightly at the handle. Was a little apprehensive as reviews for this on Amazon were few - I assume because this is a new line they are carrying.
The plum colour is classy and not nearly as blue as the picture shows, it's a nice shade of deep purple. The stainless steel is also very nice, especially compared to the Breville that had a plastic bodied water tank. This looks and feels like a quality product.
In use it's very simple, fill the water tank, set the cup size and press a button. The water then heats and starts to dispense about 40 seconds later. This is slightly slower than the breville but not by much. It's also quiet, much quieter than the previous one and doesn't make such a loud sucking noise refilling the tank.
Under the nozzle there are two LED lights which illuminate the cup - a nice touch - although in a bright kitchen these will not be noticed too much.
Some reviews I read on a catalogue site mentioned the water tank being diffult to read - I'm not sure why as it looks perfectly readible to me and you can see the water level easily.
There's also a stop button to stop the water flow into the cup which is handy.
The water temp also seems slightly hotter than the Breville but maybe it's because it's new. The temperature is almost perfect for coffee but as with all these one cup machines, if you love tea then these may not suit.
Overall, very pleased, It looks quality and sounds quality. If I had any chance to change anything on it then I'd illuminate the water indicator a nice shade of purple to match the front.
