Product Description

Product Description

The Morphy Richards Comfigrip iron has a extra large 420ml water tank that lets you iron for longer without having to refill.

According to our research, most of us find around the buttons, sleeves and shoulders the most difficult parts to iron. Our new Turbosteam Tip Technology Iron features a turbo tip at the top of the soleplate. This releases a powerful, concentrated burst of steam so you can reach those stubborn creases in the trickiest of places such as shirt collars, sleeves, pleated dresses and skirts of children’s clothes.

The iron is fine. It's quite light, but it has great steam, so gets though my man size jeans without any problems. But that darn power cable is really short. Unless you have an extension cable you can place underneath the ironing board, this is not the iron for you.

As for the 'not being able to see the water level' comments, I don't know what they mean! All you need to do it to hold the iron about 3 inches away from a 50 watt halogen spot light and you can easily see how much water is in the tank!!!!

Because of the short power cable and the rather tricky 'water level' viewing technique, it loses a star.

This product is easy to use and very effective. I have just started ironing for people to earn me a little more cash and found this iron to be perfect! I have a large ironing board and was worried the cable wouldn't be long enough however, it is fine and I can move about the ironing board without being restricted. Though big it is light and the setting are very easy to understand and use. Overall I felt it was a great buy and would recommend it to anyone having iron problems.

Flex Too Short 5 Dec 2010
By eric999
Dont buy this iron - the flex is too short - who can make an iron and attach a 1.8 m flex must be some sort of joker - the ironing board I have is 1.4m long and so would have to be 40 cm from the socket. Morphy Richards should be ashamed of themselves.
