I've had mid range irons for many years, and this is the worst one of them all. For some reason it does not glide, like all my other irons did, but worst of all, and I suspect this is a cost cutting exercise, the lead is ridiculously short. I have my ironing board positioned so that it is next to the wall with about 3 inch gap, and the iron is plugged immediately below. I still need extension lead every time I iron (shirts, where you have to move around a bit and use the left end of the board) which is a bit of a hassle. Does not look overly well made so I am hoping that it will pack up within the three year warranty period.

This a great iron for the price. When the steam option and highest heat setting is on it works like a dream and smoothes out the creases no problems at all - makes ironing a lot easier. My only compliants are that on a low setting it leaks and drips (like most irons do!) and that when you are using on a high setting you need to fill up the water tank quite frequently.

After 10 minutes hard ironing & not much progress in de-creasing my T Shirt I realised I had left the Cardboard Plate protector on. WOW so glad didn't set myself alight, but when I had removed the offending Plate protector the Iron worked a dream. Lots of heat & lots of steam. Only fault I really have is I don't have very big hands & after a while found the handle a bit wide to hold comfortably.
