I bought this egg poacher as it was a good make and a good price. It lives up to its name and is great!!

This is the worst egg poacher I have ever used. The problem is with the cups. They are made of plastic and plastic is a poor conductor of heat; much better if they had been made of metal. Incidentally, the cups are not non-stick. After boiling away for nearly 5 minutes, the egg whites are almost raw in the centre! I'll spend an extra £10 to £20 on my next purchase and with any luck will have a decent poacher that actually works!
