Surprisingly this documentary film doesn't end up being a highlight reel for LeBron James. Instead it is an insightful look at the journey made by 5 young men and their mentors through the shared medium of basketball. If you're a basketball fan this is a must-see film. Others may find the talk of point-scoring and tournament wins a bit of a turn-off in parts, but still the personal and human themes of hard-work and determination winning out in the end have a universal appeal. A favourite in my collection.

If you are a LeBron fan or in fact if your a basketball fan then this is a must have . I enjoyed the film as it takes you on a journey and learning curve more than just about basketball but as coach Joyce says 'it was about helping those boys become men' don't be thrown off by my sentimental quote this is a great film with a great story and best of all great Basketball

This is a wonderful review of the Akron Fab 4/ 5. Well shot. Well constructed. Very thought provoking. Glad its NOT just a Lebron James highlight reel.
